Baby Furniture Shopping

Amie and I spent the weekend looking for furniture and other necessities for the baby. We had fun tying to figure out what is needed and not needed. The amount of baby products on the market is overwhelming. We would recommend the store Georgia Baby for baby furniture. We found this set that we liked very much.

18 Week update

Head to bottom, the baby is approximately 5 1/2 inches
long (about the length of a bell pepper), and the baby weighs almost 7
ounces. She’s busy flexing her arms and legs — movements that you’ll
likely start noticing more and more. Myelin (a protective covering) is
beginning to form around her nerves, a process that will continue for
a year after she’s born. If you’re having a girl, her uterus and
fallopian tubes are formed and in place. If your baby is a boy, his
genitals are noticeable, though he may hide them from you during an
ultrasound.

18 Week Ultrasound

We had our 18 week ultrasound this week. Here is a photo that shows how the baby has been growing. It was very relieving to find out the baby has two arms and two legs. Everything appears healthy at this time. We feel tremendously blessed. Check out the pics…

We are Pregnant

Big news to report. We just entered the 12th week of our pregnancy, so it is now safe to tell the world that we are pregnant. We are extremely excited. We have the feeling that we are having a girl, whom we have already named Isabella Grace Schoenbaechler. If we have a boy then we will have to rethink this strategy. Additionally, we have started a blog to update everyone on the progress and to post pictures and videos.
